The following murder mysteries have previously been conducted with at large dinner parties and fund raising events, with between 30 and 120 guests. With performers wandering between tables and various activities to keep the audience involved, these are great for parties, fund-raising, celebratory dinners and the like.

A famous film producer is hoping to cast the latest "feel-good" British film using unknown performers. As hopefuls beat a path to his door, the pushiest individuals arrange private dance lessons, hoping to become the latest Hugh Grant or Helena Bonham-Carter. But the cut and thrust of Hollywood is not always suited to provincial UK, and it may be more than red wine that is spilt on the carpets of Middle England. This scenario is particularly suited to those who would like to combine the murder event with dance lessons from trained dance teachers.

A talent show is in progress, and the highlight of the evening will be the magician performing a deadly act of derring-do. With a professional engagement as a prize, there are plenty of egos to be burst and perhaps a few arteries to boot - can our highly strung organiser keep everyon in check? This scenario was originally produced with a 1950s spin, but could be adapted to any era. Ideal for those who fancy that they have the X-factor.

It is 1962 in Baltimore and the kids of Marvel High School are planning a prom that will be attended by TV star Corny Gaggs on the search for new talent. As the music hots up, so do the tempers, and aspiring dancer Hannah Hufenpuffer has to overcome a lot of opposition in her bid for fame. Based loosely on "Hairspray" this scenario is ideal for kids and teenage party nights and can feature a dance competition or be adapted to other periods, eg. Grease or High School Musical.

The highly respectable Spanish beach resort of Playa de Musica is dragged down by the presence of members of a notorious East end gang and not everyone will make it through the quiz or karaoke competition. With missing diamonds and petty jealousies, will the camp host expose the murderer in time to make it to the disco? This scenario can be adjusted to other foreign shores if desired and can include a talent competition in addition to the murderous shennanigans.
