We have created many devilish plot and devious schemes here at Murder to Measure, and whilst we are always on hand to create something unique and exciting, you may want to browse through our previous plots to get an idea of what might work for your party. We have divided these up into various categories and some scenarios fit into several sections. Remember that we can adapt most of these scenarios to any circumstance, so do browse and see what could tickle your fancy.
Mysteries for large groups
These are murders that have been performed at parties, celebrations, fund-raisers and the like where the performers interact with a large audience. Some include additional elements such as karaoke, talent competitions, dance lessons and dancing, quizzes and the like. Ideal for clubs and societies, corporate entertaining, charities, pubs and hotels looking to stage something a little different. With themes as diverse as school reunions, carnivals, Christmas parties and share-holders' meetings, these sort of events are the staple of our public repertoire.
Murder mystery abroad
These are themes set outside the UK, or featuring foreign cooking styles. From India, Italy, Mexico and America through to Spain, it's time to dust off those balti dishes or pasta makers and get cooking - or let our caterers do it for you.
French murder mysteries
France gets its own little murderous corner of the web, as we are often asked to produce murders to suit this delightful region of the world. If you are twinned with a French town or have a French chef at your disposal, these are perfect for your needs.
Historical murders
Another popular theme is something based firmly in the past - from the elegance of the 1920s through to the decadence of the sixties. With victorian and 18th century themes set to join these in the future, these scenarios are perfect for murders hosted in historical surroundings, or for those with a penchant for nostalgia.
Team building corporate murders
Another of our specialties - murder mystery events produced specifically for teams and corporate clients. We usually write these scenarios specifically for the team concerned, but this page will give you some idea of what we have done and can do.
